Victory
…is so sweet. I finished my goal of 25mi before Valentine’s Day yesterday. Life is good. Now on to something else. Should I set another distance goal or a speed goal?

The People We Meet
Here’s a long one.
I hopped on an East/West bus at the Main Library Bus Stop to head over to Snelling to get breakfast. The bus driver had just started on her route and she confused the route and instead of heading towards the dorms, she turned in the opposite direction towards the Arch. A girl had just gotten on at the Park Hall stop intending to head back to the freshman dorms, unlike the...

Point One Mile.
Yesterday I ran 7.55 miles. Turns out that I am now .1 mile away from meeting my 25 miles before Valentine’s Day goal. I wish I knew that yesterday. I’ve got some unfinished business to take care of… Friday.

Muscle Memory is Short Term
No, this isn’t about something lame. Well kinda. More about how in a few short weeks I’ve gone from working out every day to minimal exercise. And how I was absolutely shocked when I went for a run this morning and I just couldn’t even muster anything up. I’m sure the cold played a factor, but still.
And the fact that I got a nosebleed within the first two minutes so I was...
"Resolutions"
One of my best friends teases me that my bucket list can be shortened to two things: travel and find love.
He’s right.
I also do not particularly believe in New Year’s Resolutions. I definitely look back on my actions of the previous year and see how I can grow from them but I don’t think the beginning of a new year is the reason to turn over a new leaf.
At the same time, this...
